So I just got to Oregon on Monday night and so far, so good. Yesterday Virginia and I went grocery shopping and to this huge Goodwill outlet that everyone calls "the bins"-- because everything just comes out in bins that you have to sort through. I found a nice dresser and a few other things for the house and my room. Then we got lost on the bus and ended up in Tigard, which was good because we went to this Asian grocery store called H-mart and got a delicious smoothie.
The view from our porches are really great and even though it's more chilly here than I'm used to, it's nice. Today I hung around the house and took some pictures, then I went on a walk and picked some berries and stuff. Bushes line the street and you can just take all sorts of stuff: blackberries, raspberries, plums, pears, and apples.
